Terms of Service

1. Account & Authentication

Provide accurate email for verification. You are responsible for safeguarding access and any misuse from your side.

2. User Generated Content (UGC)

  • Content must be lawful, accurate, non-infringing, and non-misleading.
  • Submissions enter review; admins may edit, reject, or remove violating content.
  • You grant a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to display and operate the service.

3. Prohibited Conduct

  • No illegal, infringing, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, false, or misleading content.
  • No vote manipulation, attacks, unauthorized scraping, or exploit attempts.
  • No impersonation of others or brands; no privacy or trade-secret violations.

4. Review & Takedown

We may review, adjust, or remove content per laws, policies, or platform rules. If you believe a decision is incorrect, contact support for re-evaluation.

5. Intellectual Property

Platform UI, copy, code, and data models belong to VoteRank or respective owners. No copying, distribution, derivatives, or commercial use without permission.

6. Data & Compliance (GDPR/PIPL considerations)

  • We align data handling with applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, PIPL) where required. See Privacy Policy for lawful bases, cross-border transfers, and your rights.
  • If laws mandate local storage/review (e.g., certain PIPL scenarios), we will comply or restrict service accordingly.
  • We do not provide legal advice. You remain responsible for your own compliance when submitting or processing data via the platform.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

Service is provided “as is”; no warranties of accuracy, completeness, or merchantability. To the extent permitted by law, VoteRank is not liable for direct/indirect losses.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

Subject to applicable laws. Disputes should be resolved amicably first; otherwise submit to a court with jurisdiction.

9. Updates

We may update these terms and display the latest version. Continued use means acceptance.

10. Account & Data Deletion

Email support@voterank.app with subject “Delete Account” and your registered email. We will process promptly, retaining only minimal data required by law (e.g., audit/legal obligations).
